At Waypoint Zero, Puerto Mogan, on January 6, 2005
We returned to the boat at 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 29, 2004, and Garry, our crew
for the crossing, was right behind us, arriving at 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 30.
We spent a little time chatting and commiserating. Both of us had delayed
baggage, all of which was thankfully delivered the next day. We slept in
until 10 a.m. the next morning, had a good breakfast, and went to work on a job
list that was much longer than we anticipated. Since arriving, we've been
working every hour of the day and often into the night, but we can now see light
at the end of the tunnel. New Year's Eve here was a festive occasion, with
a good dinner at one of the waterfront restaurants and a fireworks display that
we watched from the boat. We anticipate leaving the marina tomorrow to
anchor outside for more jobs before we set off the next day.
