Canary Islands to Trinidad

On January 8, 2005, Tom and Peg and crew, Garry, set sail from Puerto Mogan on Gran Canaria to Martinique in the Windward Islands of the Lesser Antilles on the eastern edge of the Caribbean Sea.

Garry's wife, Lorraine, arrived in Martinique on the same day as Starboard Home, and a delightful week was spent with good friends.  They said good-bye in St. Lucia and awaited the arrival of Tom's son, Garth, his wife, Sandy, and children, Lia and Ali.  A good time was had by all and it was a sad day when they left to return to the snow in Massachusetts.

Tom and Peg then made their way south to Trinidad, stopping in Bequia and the Tobago Cays on the way.  Starboard Home was put on the hard for the summer in Trinidad and her crew will return to her in the Fall.
