From Turkey to the Adriatic Sea

  In 2003 we returned to Starboard Home, which was on the hard in Marmaris in Turkey, and while still in Turkey we visited the famed Capadoccia area before heading across the Aegean Sea to Athens. We then went through the Corinth Canal to the Ionian Sea and on up the Adriatic to the small country of Montenegro before cruising the islands and coast of Croatia. We then sailed into Venice and took a train trip to Florence. We returned to Croatia for some late season cruising before putting Starboard Home to bed for the winter at Sibari, Italy.
   Before returning stateside we toured Rome and took a train tour through Austria.
